Firecracker Flower is a passive item introduced in Volume 1.
Effect
- Causes Isaac's tears to be randomly replaced with seeds. These seeds stick to enemies and, after 5 seconds, bloom into a flower that explodes, dealing damage and shooting 5-8 petal tears around.
- Petal tears deal damage and can inherit tear effects.
- The probability of shooting a seed tear is 10% and is affected by luck, each point of luck giving an extra 2%, capping at 30% chance. Negative luck also affects this item, removing 2% for each negative point, capping at 5% minimum chance.
Synergies
Abyss: Spawns a green burning locust that has a 10% chance of sticking a seed into enemies it hits.
Brimstone: Each tick of damage from a laser has a chance of sticking a seed into enemies.
Mom's Knife: Each tick of damage from a knife has a reduced chance of sticking a seed into enemies.
The Forgotten: Swinging the bone has a chance of throwing a seed in the direction of the swing.
Trivia
- Firecracker Flower was initially supposed to be a trinket, however its effect was deemed too flashy to only be a trinket.
- Firecracker Flower was originally going to be called Firecracker Rose.
