Prismatic Dice is an active item introduced in Volume 1.
Effects
- On use, splits pedestal items in the room into two items of one less Quality. The split items are taken from the current room's pool, not the pool the original item came from.
- Quality zero items are split into several random pickups instead.
- Pickups spawned this way will spawn a bonus pickup depending on the current room type similar to Tainted Cain. These include an eternal heart in angel rooms, a black heart in devil rooms, a bone heart in secret rooms, a rotten heart in curse rooms, and a rune in planetariums.
- Quality zero items are split into several random pickups instead.
- If the current pool doesn't have any more items of the needed quality, it'll instead spawn
Breakfast or a special breakfast item with the corresponding quality.

Interactions
Car Battery: Items will be split twice.
Book of Virtues: Wisps cannot shoot tears. However, they will split any friendly tears that pass through them into four differently coloured tears, similarly to 
Angelic Prism.
Judas + 
Birthright: Spawned items have a 30% chance to become Devil Room items of the same Quality.
Godhead: Trying to split Godhead will turn it into 
The Body, 
The Mind and 
The Soul.
Trivia
- Originally, more easter eggs were planned similar to the Godhead one, however all of them were scrapped because they didn't fit the theme of being separated by color.
